Los Angeles Indie Rock band Frankie + The Studs are releasing their debut LP, Life’s a Glitch, today on March 27th, 2025. Comprised of singer/guitarist Frankie Clarke, Frank Salazar on lead guitar, Lizi Gionangeli on bass, and Nick Rossi on drums, Frankie and the Studs has already been a big part of the underground scene in their community and have previously released EPs.

They’ve brought their support to Billy Joe Armstrong’s side project, Longshot, performed with members of Sex Pistols and Blondie, and Macy Gray is a Producer on the album’s track “Some Kinda Love.”

Frankie says about their debut full-length.

My process with this album was to approach everything with the live show in mind. Since we always consider ourselves a live band and love to perform, I wanted the order of songs to feel like a setlist that we could play top to bottom and capture the same energy we have live.

The album release is accompanied by a new music video for the song “Monster”, taking inspiration from bands like Paramore.

Produced and recorded by Frankie’s dad, well-known guitarist Gilby Clarke, the video for “Monster” is” “dark and claustrophobic, reflecting the theme of the song, anxiety.”

Frankie adds about the track:

Putting it all out on display feels like I’m conquering my anxiety that often tries to hold me back.
