Brooklyn-based outfit Whitehall have returned with their single, “Malibu #2”, an Indie Rock jam “captures the restless spirit of life on the road.” The new single offers a first taste of Whitehall’s upcoming album, set to arrive later this year.

Grounded in an Alternative Rock sound, the band is made up of Paddy McKiernan (vocals, guitar), Avery Greeson (guitar), Brennan Clark (bass), and Davis Rowe (drums).

Written during their time touring the West Coast, “Malibu #2” delivers “a wry, self-aware take on the highs and lows of a transient lifestyle.”

Brennan Clark explains:

It’s about touring and a life of travel, but using it as an escape from my problems. You get out, but your issues are still there. When you come home, everyone has gotten better as people, but you’re still emotionally stunted. So, you end up frustrated. It has the right energy to introduce this chapter.
