Pine Ridge’s ‘Under The Raging Sun’ Captures The Relentless Urge To Move Forward

Siberian-raised Hard Rock band Pine Ridge have released their third studio album, Under The Raging Sun. They have also released a music video for the track No Gravity.” On Under The Raging Sun, each track “paints a different shade of rebellion, nostalgia, and longing”. 

Lead singer Vasiliy Pishchukhin says:

This album explores the depths of our thoughts and emotions. It delves into dreams and love, capturing the nostalgia that sometimes aches within, and the relentless urge to move forward. It’s a reflection of who we are—of those who live ‘Under The Raging Sun.’

This marks the band’s third studio album, and it is the first to be put out entirely independently from any label. It was Produced entirely by the band of four: Vasiliy Pishchukhin, Semen Klavda, Sergey Vostrikov, and Misha Kislovsky.

With two full-length albums previously released on European labels in limited vinyl editions, From Somewhere, to Nowhere… (2016, Nasoni Records, Germany) and Can’t Deny (2021, Karma Conspiracy Records, Italy), the band has become part of the underground scene. Their have played a couple of tours and countless festivals across Russia, including headlining slots at major events.
