Miami’s Nu Deco Ensemble have shared their new EP, a Lauryn Hill suite. This instrumental re-imagination pays tribute to The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, blending Hip-Hop and R&B with orchestral textures. The suite includes “Lost Ones” seamlessly intertwed with “Everything is Everything” and “Doo Wop (That Thing)”. What may be familiar to fans is transformed into new sonic landscapes. 

With elements of Jazz, Funk, and cinematic storytelling, Nu Deco says:

We aim to honor the legacy of the original album while expanding into fresh, unexpected dimensions. We hope you love it as much as we enjoyed performing it!

Nu Deco Ensemble’s next performance will be on March 7-8th, 2025 in Miami will feature dance music and is titled Underground Symphony.
