Andy Frasco & The U.N. are kicking off 2025 with Try Not to Die,” a “heartfelt anthem about embracing life’s messiness.” This marks the first glimpse of new material they’ll be rolling out this year.

Co-written with producer Chris Gelbuda in Nashville, the track is “both a rallying cry and a reminder to find joy amidst the chaos.”

Frasco says:

My goal as a musician and songwriter has always been to get people out of their echo chambers to grow. You can’t grow unless you hear both sides. My hope is people break out of their depression and think of a different way to live life. I try to write optimistically depressing songs. I’m always looking for silver linings.

The single builds on L’Optimist, Frasco’s most introspective album to date. Frasco’s World Saving Podcast has featured candid conversations with icons like Tony Hawk and Margaret Cho, while his World Saving ShitShow variety series during the pandemic blended music, comedy, and fun.
