Nashville singer/songwriter Reid Haughton has released new single “The Wheel” featuring fellow Alabama native Drake White. An homage to the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” mentality, the track “serves as an easygoing reminder to keep things uncomplicated and enjoy the simple pleasures in life.”
Says Haughton:
‘The Wheel’ is an autobiographical tune that’s about as laid back as I am. It’s my personality in song form. As for having Drake on the track it made perfect sense to me. I was out on the road with Drake and through getting to know him I realized we thought a lot alike, so I asked him to feature. Now it seems the song was always meant to be that way, and I’m proud of how it turned out.
Last year, Haughton released his debut LP Higher Than 9, combining his classic Country influences with the Southern Rock he grew up on.

Haughton has spent years on the road supporting artists like Whiskey Myers and 49 Winchester. Most comfortable on a stage, Haughton always aims to preserve the raw, live band essence on his recorded music. Haughton is currently on tour supporting Hudson Westbrook.
