Singer/songwriter Antonio Andrade will be releasing an album of favorite cover songs that developed out of covid-era live performances, titled Here We Go!, on March 21st, 2025. When live shows vanished and Antonio moved his work to the studio, he explored many of cover songs derived from his live shows.
Here We Go!, his ninth full length release, shares the covers that got moved to the back burner as he recorded and released Jingle All The Way (2021) and My Reward (2023).
Most of the tracks have been featured in Andrade’s live performances, some for several decades. “Take Me Out To The Ball Game” (1908) is the oldest, and “Love Shack” (1989) is the youngest of these songs. Since many of his early musical memories are attached to TV and watching cartoons, the Looney Tunes Medley presented a proper opening.
Derek Euston engineers his seventh album with Andrade at his Green Room Recording Studio in Harrisburg, PA. Credited as co-producer, Euston also contributes by playing bass, electric and acoustic guitars, mandolin, and organ. Singers include Amma Johnson, who returns for her fifth record with Andrade, and Kj Reimensnyder-Wagner. Richie “raggs” Ranaglia plays all the saxophones, clarinet, and flute. Denny Niedich appears on drums and congas, and Ed Lesser on drums.

Andrade says:
My ability to re-interpret songs might be a noteworthy skill. My perspective as an entertainer leads me to cover songs in which I find a character that speaks to me. I become that character when I act out the song. I believe the words when I say them.
