For the past 16 years, Swedish band This Gift Is A Curse have explored the boundaries of underground Metal. On their upcoming fourth album, Heir, the band add plenty of Hardcore and Sludge traditions. The album’s lead single and video “Kingdom” is out now. Heir comes out March 7, 2025 on Season of Mist.

Their new video features a decrepit “god forsaken cabin in the woods” and an “unholy seance.” The song also features Livmødr’s Laura Morgan.
