Scottish band Saor is inspired by their nature “towering peaks and mist-laden lochs” and have returned with a playthrough video for the lead single and title track off their new album Amidst the Ruins.

According to the band, Amidst the Ruins “draws inspiration from a bygone era.” On their fifth album, Saor merges Black Metal with Celtic Folk melodies. The title track delivers “a solemn reminder of a heritage lost amidst the modern world’s clamor.”

Saor will embark on a journey across the UK and Europe next year. The band will share their new music with fans during the Amidst the Ruins 2025 tour.
