Zement’s ‘Passagen’ Album Merges Disco, Jazz, And Motorik Rhythms

Zement has returned with “Better (Always Means Worse, For Some)”, the third single from their album Passagen, set for release in February 2025. This track showcases the band’s “deep dive into studio experimentation”, building layers of sound and the upcoming album merges Disco, Jazz, and Motorik rhythms.

“Better” weaves together genres from 70s Psychedelia, to EDM, Future Garage, and Electronic Indie, with a nod to British club culture.

Complementing the track is a music video directed by Marko Martini. Building on their third album Rohstoff, which introduced psychedelic undertones to their sound, Passagen continues Zement’s exploration.

The band says:

Expect more disco, more punch, more glitter, more motorik, and more jazz. The endless meditation on the architecture of the mind and the movement of bodies continues. Join us on this journey!
