Montreal-raised, multidisciplinary, self-taught artist, Jessie James embraces both music and the visual arts. Equally multi-genre, James has a particular passion for Punk. She has recently released the single “Rise and Shine”, which is “an anthem of resilience and self-empowerment”.

“Rise and Shine” speaks of “letting go of anxiety, embracing peace, and standing strong in the face of adversity”, a reminder that “the light is always within reach—one step at a time.”

Jessie James is a mother of four who initially learned the ukulele for self-expression and it led to a greater connection with music, as well as, in time, to her own compositions.
