On December 14th, 2024, Pop artist and producer Bayem will release his EP Tape 3. Written and recorded with Owen Thomas (Kishi Bashi, Dream Chief, The Band Perry) and mixed by Geoff Swan (Charli XCX, Caroline Polachek, Billie Eilish), the collection explores an R&B sound alongside Pop.

Ahead of the release, Bayem has shared a final look into the project with “Wreck,” which is a “reflection of the insecurities that come with developing such deep longing in a fresh relationship, rendering you paralyzed by the fear of ruining it.”

Bayem explains:

‘Wreck’ came at a very interesting moment in my life. Finding myself in a healthy and stable relationship was both exciting and intimidating. When you’ve gotten used to rollercoaster-style relationships, there’s really an adjustment period after entering into a positive feedback loop. The song was a way for me to channel that energy and be succinct in how I felt about it. 

To celebrate Tape 3, Bayem will be performing an EP release show in Indianapolis on December 14 at the Hi-Fi.
