Singer/songwriter David Ramirez has announced the upcoming March 21st, 2025 release of All The Not So Gentle Reminders via Blue Corn Music, and 2025 US and UK/European tour dates. The semi-autobiographical new track “The Music Man” is out now.
All The Not So Gentle Reminders is Ramirez’s sixth LP, and was for him “a creative revelation.”
He says:
I love all the records I’ve made in the past. But in making them, there was always the thought in the back of my mind of where and what it could get me… this time it was all about just the joy of making it, about having fun with it.
Ramirez wanted “the music to have as much of a voice in these songs as the lyrics” and so the tracks are replete with orchestration.
