German Alternative Rock band Liger are known for their energetic live shows. Together, the five musicians from Aachen produce a mixture of cross-genre melodies with lyrics in English, “inspired by real life and the fictional parallel world of singer Mephaixtopheles.” They recently released their new single “Lost in the Darkness”.

Originally founded in Bristol (UK) in 2011, the band first released their music under the name Rednight until 2021. They reinvented themselves during the pandemic-related break and returned to the scene as Liger.

The band’s different genre influences include Metal, Rock, Jazz and Pop and thus merge into a hybrid, just like the eponymous Liger, formed from the traits of a lion and tiger.
