Kramer has added to his Shimmy-Disc catalogue with the release of the LP If a Body Meet a Body, the debut album from Squanderers.

Squanderers were born as a trio of guitarists, including Wendy Eisenberg and David Grubbs alongside multi-instrumentalist and Producer Kramer. Having begun as a duo in 2023 for Kramer’s “Rings of Saturn” box set, Grubbs and Kramer now enter the arena of live performance with Eisenberg.

If a Body Meet a Body explores “the instantaneous relations between sound, gesture and space.” All pieces are the results of spontaneous composition, with the group playing together live in a New York studio.

The track “Theme for Viewers At Home” is out now alongside the album’s release, as well as a video of “ambient-cinema” by Kramer.
