Following a year of touring, Emei has shared new EP, Rabbithole. To celebrate, she has released the final visualizers for closers “Sugarcoat” and “The Part.” They form part of the complete picture of literary themes on the EP.

Emei explains:

This entire EP, Rabbithole, was inspired by my anxiety and panic attacks, descending through the pressures of young adult life around love, friendship, and career pressures as well, and mostly the pressure I put on myself. This project was heavily inspired by the world of Alice in Wonderland, emulating each scene through the classic story.

The new EP follows Emei’s debut album, Scatterbrain.

Emei spent the first part of this year performing sold-out shows in Europe and in major US cities. She just finished a sold-out run of her first Australian headline shows ever, followed by performances at Austin City Limits in Austin, TX and MetaMoon Music Festival in Brooklyn, NY. The Rabbithole Tour begins next year and includes stops across Europe and North America.
