Dundee, Scotland’s Copper Lungs has released new single “Pieces of Me”, which focuses on the feeling of that “deep breath you take after a storm has passed.” It’s also about the love “that came into your life when you needed it most.”

Songwriter Darren says:

The song basically wrote itself in an hour. It was one of those rare moments where the music just flows naturally, and before I knew it, I sent it to the guys and we all agreed: this had to be our next single.

The 4-piece is now shifting to more experimental sound while embracing a new approach to songwriting.

Darren explains:

We’ve been breaking our own rules lately. We’re letting each song take its own journey. ‘Pieces of Me’ has definitely been one of those tracks that started in one place and ended in another.
