Pressure Points is a Melodic Metal band founded in Heinola (Finland) in 2004. They blend many styles within the field of Melodic and Progressive Metal. They are particularly fond of the bands PorcupineTree, Rush, DreamTheater and Leprous.

They have recently released the single and video, “The Chase”, from their 2023 album, The Island. “The Chase” tells “a love story with a gloomy twist.” It is also the shortest song the band has ever made.

They previously released the albums Remorses to Remember and False Lights and their latest album, The Island, arrived via Art Gates Records in 2023. They intend to release two new singles this autumn, including “The Chase” with its music video directed by Teppo Ristola.

Pressure Points have shared stages with international acts such as Katatonia, Samael, and Omnium Gatherum  and toured over the North of Europe with Insomnium, Nile and Keep of Kalessin.
