Heavy Bloom is a genre-blending band from Seattle known for a fusion of Pop, R&B, and Funk. Band leaders Jeanie Marinella and Joji Harada began writing together in 2020. The group draws direct inspiration from artists like Remi Wolf, Little Dragon, and Amber Mark.

They have recently released the single and video for “Crash.” The song is “about the letdown that creeps in when exiting the honeymoon phase of a fresh relationship, while reminiscing on the joy and simplicity of new love.”

Opening for international acts like Daste and Brooklyn’s Cool Company, Heavy Bloom have recently been featured at regional music festivals Bite of Seattle and Bellingham’s Splish Splash.  They have plans for 2025 that include a new album release and extended touring throughout the coming year.
