Collignon started as a solo project of Jori Collignon, a keyboard player and Producer who was involved in Dutch groups like C-Mon & Kypski, Nobody Beat The Drum, and SKIP&DIE. After settling in a small town in Portugal, he started recording, and in 2022, released solo debut Lagoinha. That summer, during a tour of 20 concerts around the Netherlands, Collignon evolved from a solo effort into a three-piece band.
Now, Collignon has released a new single “Estrada do Norte”, the first glimpse of their upcoming album Bicicleta, arriving from Gris Gris Records, on February 14, 2025. Recorded in the midst of their summer tour, the band brought the energy of live performances to the recording.
Bicicleta was written and recorded in the midst of the band’s summer tour and captures grooving beats, psychedelic guitars, and sharp keyboard riffs. The music “transports listeners across borders”, from Brazil to Cape Verde, to India.

This album was made with vinyl in mind, designed to be experienced as a complete journey. Pre-ordering starts November 18th from Gris Gris Records’ Bandcamp page.
