Musician, producer and composer Neacal has released his inaugural solo album, Stranger From Long Ago, via Neacal Music. Neacal started his artistic career as the founder of instrumental Progressive/Post-Rock band, toured across Europe and Asia, and wrote original soundtracks for a few video games.
The new album was written, produced, and mixed by Neacal, with co-mixing by Ivan Lubianyi and mastering by Ian Shepherd (Deep Purple, New Order, King Crimson).
Over his time in music, Neacal has moved through instrumental, Progressive Rock and avant-garde sonic domains, and has found a new artistic incarnation as an Orchestral Pop singer/songwriter. His songs navigate “trauma, resilience, and adaptation.”

Neacal shares:
These songs, while being unraveled over the course of the last 3 years, became a refuge in my darkest months. Loss of loved ones, loss of home, loss of the life as I knew it—all of this pain transformed into these lyrics and melodies. And now it’s time for them to live their own life in this world.
