UK-based Heavy music band Heriot has released their debut album, Devoured by the Mouth of Hell, out now on Century Media. The album was recorded and Produced by Heriot’s Jake Packer with Josh Middleton (Sylosis, Architects), and mixed and mastered by Grammy Award-winning Will Putney (END, Fit For An Autopsy, Better Lovers), with additional engineering by Justin Hill (SixTh, Betraying the Martyrs).

In celebration, Heriot have unveiled a music video for the track “Opaline.”

The band comments:

‘Opaline’ addresses the need to accept that sometimes you must sit with the truth alone, however isolating it may be, until others are ready to understand it. It emphasises trusting your instincts but forgiving yourself for the times you couldn’t. This is the first song we’ve released with predominantly clean vocals and is in a direction we’ve not experimented with before.

The band will head out on a European tour this November alongside Fit For An Autopsy, Sylosis, and Darkest Hour.
