Lukas Somers has created a second album under the Solak moniker, titled Atlas, which attempts to “say the unspeakable” and “express emotions that can hardly be put into words.” A second single from Atlas,“Different Timing,” has been released. The album arrives on November 15th, 2024.

Somers says:

“Different Timing” is a song about finding each others’ and your own frequency in a relationship. It’s about staying true to your own needs and wishes, whilst staying connected and being available to talk about it. I think it was written on a moment where I was deciding to move out a house of friends, to go live with my girlfriend and the doubts that came with it. Turned out to be a good thing!

The single is accompanied by a video, following a tortoise as it wanders though nature. Somers adds, “Spoiler alert: This song is dedicated to the birth of my first son, born in August!”

This album Atlas follows Somers’ debut, Green, which initially surprised Somers himself, leading him to explore writing music further.
