Kramer is once again gearing up to add a new LP to his Shimmy-Disc catalogue, returning to the spoken-word, in collaboration with a wide roster of Artists.
Kramer has announced Poe – To One in Paradise (for Hal Willner) for October 18th, 2024, a collection of Edgar Allan Poe’s poems read by musicians, poets, actors, and one magician. It is dedicated to the memory of Kramer’s great friend and fellow traveller, Hal Willner (1956 – 2020).
Kramer has curated a collection of voices “to render living vision to Poe’s entombed words, and draped them in a series of ambient musical landscapes evocative of a world long lost to time.”
As a coda, there is an archival recording of Allen Ginsberg reciting “The Bells” closing out the album.

The first track from the album has been shared, titled “Dreamland”, and read by Lydia Lunch. The reading features music by Kramer. Also accompanying the track is a piece of “ambient cinema” by Kramer.
