Since June 2022, Salt Lake City-based Hardcore band Run Into The Sun have been releasing a dual single series. Now, the band had shared the fifth installment with the release of “Victory / Light.”

Recorded, mixed and mastered by Nic Kartchner at Grotto Audio, Kartchner also features on “Victory,” the heavier of the two songs.

Expanding on the track, vocalist Dan Fletcher shares:

Victory is about healing trauma and breaking habits handed down through generations. Being better. We’re molded by our origins but that doesn’t mean we can’t break free. And breaking those chains ensures that future generations have a stronger foundation.

About “Light”, Fletcher adds:

This track is about slaying your demons head on and knowing that you’re not alone in that fight. That everyone struggles with their own mental health issues. And that seeking and embracing support from others is one powerful way to overcome. There’s always a light beyond the darkness.
