Berlin and Vienna-based trio Gewalt have released a video for the Pop single “A Solar Storm Rages Above Us,” which “explores the lightness of being.” For the video, which was directed by Niklas Soestmeyer, a couple spends a romantic day together, driving through deserted country roads, picnicking in the countryside, and watching a sunset, but wild things are in store.

Gewalt traditionally push boundaries when it comes to their music videos, and that’s also true for the song “A Solar Storm Rages Above Us,” which the band claims was written “to heal the world”.

Gewalt’s new album Doppeldenk will be released on the 4th of October 2024 via Clouds Hill / ADA worldwide. The band will embark on a selective tour through Germany and Austria in November/December 2024.
