Frencha, aka, Charlotte Amar, is a French artist and songwriter in Country music who has revealed that her second full-length LP, Grab That Chance, will be released on Friday, November 15, 2024. This nine-track album combines the Nashville influences of Country songs with French lyrics, blending Frencha’s dual cultural influences.

In addition to the album announcement, Frencha has revealed the music video for her lead single and title track, “Grab That Chance”.

The official music video showcases classic Country elements, but sets them against the unexpected backdrop of the European countryside.

After years of sidelining her musical dreams, one of Frencha’s three children, Ava, asked, “Why aren’t you recording music, Mom?”

Frencha says:

What kind of mother tells her kids to follow their dreams without showing them how it’s done.

Inspired by her daughter’s question, Frencha gathered the courage to bring her songs to the studio, leading to the release of her debut album, Cactus Heart, in 2022. Within a week of it being out, producer Dean Miller, known for his work with Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson, invited Frencha to the studio in Nashville, TN.

That call from Miller sparked the creation of lead single and title track, “Grab That Chance,” which “embraces a more optimistic perspective on life.” The lyrics address the idea that “age is just a number and it’s never too late to pursue your dreams.”  

Country music has been the soundtrack of her life since Frencha was a child, when a stay with an American family in Virginia first introduced her to that world. Ever since, Frencha has drawn inspiration from this genre, crafting melodies that tell stories in both English and French.
