Punk band Prime Directive have released their album The Fallout, which blends old-school Punk with elements of Rock & Roll, Heavy Metal, and a little bit of Pop. They are taking aim at a “tongue-in-cheek horror/sci-fi soundscape” that points to a dystopian future.

Columbus, Ohio’s Prime Directive is making their Punkerton Records debut with their The Fallout which is available in limited-edition color variations on 12″ 140 gram vinyl and CD. The vinyl expected ship date is October 19th, 2024.

Prime Directive formed in 2005 in Columbus, Ohio, with their first show taking place at Bernie’s Distillery. What began as a group of high school friends covering Misfits songs quickly evolved into something much bigger. After a brief hiatus, the band reformed in 2013, solidifying their lineup and refining their sound.

Over the years, Prime Directive has become a staple in the Columbus Punk scene. Their music is a mix of fast-paced Punk Rock with horror-inspired lyrics.
