Folk singer-songwriter Molly Murphy has released new single, “Thin Glass,” heralding the launch of her upcoming EP, Tigers In Your Backyard (Nocturnal Edition), scheduled to release on September 6th, 2024.

Embracing her Celtic heritage, Molly Murphy has approached the Indie Folk scene by blending traditional Irish instrumentation with modern influences.

Tigers In Your Backyard (Nocturnal Edition) is an EP that melds 60s and 70s Folk influences with a “Celtic Flower-Power” sound.

Reflecting on her creative process, Molly Murphy shares:

With this album, I finally feel in control of my music. I’ve spent years developing my production skills and collaborating with other musicians, pushing the boundaries of genres from ‘Celtic Flower Power’ to ‘Art Folk.’

In addition to her musical endeavors, Molly Murphy is an active Advisory Board Member for the We Are All Music Foundation, advocating for music education and accessibility.
