Experimental lo-fi Brazilian group Oruã have released their single “Caboclo”. This is the third single off their recently released LP Passe. Oruã will also be on the road this summer, sharing dates across the US with Dad Bod.

Oruā says about the new single:

Caboclo is a warrior who came from the forest and is said to be the son of a European settler and an Indigenous Brazilian. In the common Brazilian universe, Caboclo is a runner and does everything he can to survive.

In the center of Rio de Janeiro in 2024, Caboclo received a bullet, died on the spot and came back a few minutes later with his head held high.
