Duo Callahan & Witscher will be releasing their debut LP, Think Differently. Jeff Witscher has more than two decades experience in music, releasing on Pan and NNA Tapes. Jack Callahan has released music on Demdike Stare’s DDS label and studied with Swiss composer Jürg Frey.

Regarding moving from the margins of avant garde to Post-grunge American Hard Rock, Callahan says: “At some point, you start to need a stronger drug.”

For their project, the duo focus on the guitar, which is not what either have been known for and create a mood with an “undertow of dread.” 

Jeff Witscher and Jack Callahan are known for their compositions and far-ranging work under various monikers, but recently they have been using phrases such as “Music Art” and “Sound Music” to focus on the simplicity of their practices.
