Singer/songwriter Evan Honer has released his new single “Fighting For” along with an official video. It’s the title track from his new album, out June 7th, 2024 via Cloverdale Records. The track explores the “lonely, empty feeling of a breakup” via orchestral elements of cello, violin, and trumpet.
Fighting For will be the follow-up to Honer’s 2023 debut West on I-10, which was met with whirlwind streaming success. That surprising period in his life is captured on Fighting For.
Co-produced by Honer with longtime collaborators Stephen Myers and Jon Notar, the album “embraces the conflicting swirl of emotions that come with early adulthood, from exhilaration to uncertainty.”
Honer also started his own label, Cloverdale Records, and is building a community of like-minded artists. This summer and Fall, Honer will hit the road in support of Fighting For on a five-month tour that will take him across the US.
