UK-based singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and Producer Luke Sital-Singh has shared his new single “Hold The Lightning.” The song introduces a slightly different sound than some have come to expect from the Indie Folk artist, combining an upbeat sound with cynical lyrics.
Though details of his upcoming album have yet to be revealed, Sital-Singh calls “Hold The Lightning,” which he co-wrote with songwriter/Producer Jack Hardman, “the anchor song of the album.”
He adds:
There was an energy to it. I’m not very good at realising I’m making a record until there is a vibe that I’ve landed on. And when I wrote that one, I was just like: this is what I want to try and aim all the others at. It’s not the first one I wrote, but then I could carve the other ones into a similar world.

“Hold The Lightning” is Sital-Singh’s first original music since his 2022 full-length album Dressing Like A Stranger. He then released the sparse Strange Weather EP (2023).
