Heilung performed for the first time at the historic Red Rocks Amphitheatre back in 2021. Today, they’ve announced Lifa Iotungard, a live album that captures that night on CD and vinyl.  Lifa Iotungard comes out on CD and vinyl on August 9, 2024. 

Lifa Iotungard captures Heilung commitment to a “sacred ritual” via performance. Their goal was to create “a sacred space” to link “the hearts of the present with the spirits of the past.”

“Remember that we all are brothers”, Heilung recited during their opening ceremony. “All people, beasts, trees, and stones and wind. We all descend from the one great being”.

Right now, the single “Traust” has been released with includes “throat singing, primordial rhythms and mystic chants.” This song, which first appeared on their second studio album Futha, transports listeners back in time.
