California-based Psych Rock band Dream Phases have announced upcoming album, Phantom Idol, as well as revealing the first single from the album, ‘”Speed of Light”. “Speed of Light” accompanied by an animated video by Arturo Baston.

Phantom Idol will be arriving on vinyl and digital on Coconut Spaceship Records and tape via Mutation Records on July 12th, 2024.

The album marks the band’s first time collaborating with Producers Matt Schuessler (Cat Power, DISQ, Kurt Vile) and Rob Schnapf (Beck, Elliott Smith, Dr. Dog) and features guests including Jeff Schroeder (ex-Smashing Pumpkins), Dan Gee (No. 44), and several more. The album was recorded between 2022 and 2023 and written collaboratively between bandmates.

The artwork for “Speed of Light” was created by Scott Duffey. The artwork for the album cover was created by Asuka Watanabe.
