Hopeless Records Celebrates 30 Years With A Slew Of Honors And Events

Hopeless Records recently announced a year’s worth of special initiatives to pay tribute to the label’s 30 year history.

Throughout 2024 the label will release a fan zine and documentary chronicling 30 years of history, along with limited anniversary vinyl re-releases, and a compilation album of their current artist roster covering Hopeless Records classics.

This year, Hopeless Records will also be on-site at independent music conference A2IM Indie Week in New York City with their 30th Anniversary Museum Exhibit from June 10-13. In addition, A2IM’s Libera Awards presented by Merlin, which kicks off the same week will honor Louis Posen, founder of Hopeless Records for the 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing his contributions, accomplishments, philanthropy, and leadership in the independent sector on Monday, June 10 at Gotham Hall.

The museum, which is making its New York City debut, will feature over 1,000 unique artifacts including guitars used on albums, vintage merch, promo items, original master tapes, as well as behind the scenes photos and documents from Avenged Sevenfold, All Time Low, Neck Deep, The Wonder Years, Taking Back Sunday, The Used, New Found Glory, and many more.

The museum exhibit will be on display following Monday’s A2IM Libera Awards ceremony at the Indie Week conference starting Tuesday, June 10 to Thursday, June 13 at the InterContinental New York Times Square and will subsequently travel nationwide with stops at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH, and The Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas, NV.
