Decibel Celebrates 20 Years With A Philly Anniversary Show Featuring Immolation, Horrendous, Autopsy, And More In August

The Metal music magazine Decibel turns 20 this year and to celebrate, they are throwing themselves an epic hometown birthday party with Decibel’s 20th Anniversary Show on August 31st, 2024 at Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia.

The show will also mark California Death Metal band Autopsy‘s first appearance in Philadelphia with a headline performance.

Drummer/vocalist Chris Reifert says:

Autopsy is revved up, bloodthirsty and ready to bring 100% horrific Death Metal to Decibel’s 20th anniversary bash in Philadelphia,” says “Come on out and go insane with us!

Additionally, Immolation will perform a special “First 20 Years” set in honor of the magazine’s 20-year run, Progressive Death Metal band Horrendous will celebrate the 10th anniversary of their Ecdysis release with a special full-album performance, and Crypt Sermon will perform their new record, The Stygian Rose, in its entirety. They’ll be joined by Black Metal bands Krieg, Deathevokation, and Philly Grunge band Rid of Me.

Ticket options include All-Ages GA plus a limited 21+ VIP option entitling purchasers early entry to the Pre-Show “Decibowl” Reception as well as access to the elevated VIP Viewing Deck with seating + waitstaff. Tickets go on sale on May 10th.

The “Decibowl” Pre-Show Reception will take place in the restaurant portion of Brooklyn Bowl Philly from 2pm-4pm.
