Andrew Gabbard of Gabbard Brothers and The Black Keys has released a full six-track EP titled Big Belly Boogaloo. Following the digital releases of Part 1 (featuring the tracks  “Big Belly Boogaloo” and “Skateboard Mothers”) and Part 2 (“Real Time” and “Constellations” [Live at Tupelo House]), this collection is now complete with the inclusion of the final two tracks, “Hey Red Rose” and a live version his song “Cloud of Smoke.”

“Hey Red Rose” recounts “the story of a bright kid leaving the farm and being sorely missed by all the living creatures and nature he once co-existed with.” The track takes inspiration from late ’60s psychedelia, but leans into Power Pop.

This new rendition of “Cloud of Smoke” was recorded live to tape at Tupelo House in Loveland, Ohio. It’s an “intimate and stripped-back take” on one of Andy’s favorites.
