Singer/songwriter Evan Honer has announced his new album Fighting For that will arrive on June 7th, 2024 through Cloverdale Records. The release will be the follow-up to his 2023 debut West on I-10, leading to sold-out headline tours across the country and through Europe.
That period is captured on Fighting For. Co-produced by Honer with longtime collaborators Stephen Myers and Jon Notar, it’s a “coming-of-age” record that “asks hard questions and offers no easy answers.”
Honer has also shared his new single “Easier,” which “rails against the adulthood realities that don’t measure up to expectations.”
Honer began teasing his forthcoming album earlier this month with the release of “Take Me As I Come” featuring fellow rising artist Wyatt Flores.
Evan Honer was still a college student in Southern California when his music began earning a global audience. One minute, he was uploading performance videos to social media with little response. The next, he was a viral success and building a following with his original music.
Honer recorded the album on the move, finding small windows of time between gigs to capture these songs in small studios, churches, living rooms, and even AirBnbs. Though he had a number of label offers following his debut album, he opted to stay independent, start his own label Cloverdale Records, and build a community of like-minded and hard-working artists.

This summer and Fall, Honer will hit the road in support of Fighting For with dates that will take him across the US and Europe.
