Psychedelic Folk Rock group Cosmic Guilt is a ten-piece group known for their hand-crafted Western uniforms. Led by primary songwriter James Everhart, the Guilt is comprised of working musicians, hailing from Ruby The Hatchet, Ron Gallo, Scantron, Milieu Lust, and others, who’ve been playing together in the Philadelphia-area in recent years.

On May 31st, 2023 Cosmic Guilt will release their sophomore album, Palace of Depression and to celebrate, they will perform a hometown show at First Unitarian Church that evening.
The album was recorded in Philadelphia at Hi5 studio, with support on select tracks from Silent Partner, owned by engineer Matt Barrick (The Walkmen, Fleet Foxes). The record was mastered by Charlie Stavish (Jenny Lewis). Cosmic Guilt will tour in support of Palace of Depression in New England this Spring.
In their debut self-titled album (2022), Cosmic Guilt recorded the chemistry of their live performances while conveying the “anxiety of present times.”
Cosmic Guilt has shared stages with The Walkmen, White Denim, Father John Misty, Sharon Van Etten, Charlie Crocket, Toby Leaman (of Dr. Dog), and Jenny Lewis.
