Multi-instrumentalist and co-founder of The Lumineers, Jeremiah Fraites, has released a second album of artful arrangements titled Piano Piano 2.

Two years after his #1 classical crossover album Piano Piano, Fraites pursues even bolder and more genre-bending instrumentation on Piano Piano 2. The album also features a vocal performance by Grammy-nominated folk artist Gregory Alan Isakov on a reimagined orchestral cover of the Radiohead classic “No Surprises.” 

Piano Piano 2 contains a number of Easter Eggs, including the sound of Fraites’ children at play, audio from a phone call with his wife, and even dialogue lifted from a late-1980s home movie.

Those clips added in like mementos and a reminder of our human realities in the midst of the imaginative. A limited special signed edition of the vinyl is available from DualTone.
