Adeem The Artist‘s new single “Rotations” was conceived when the East Tennessee-based songwriter thought about the wild timing of becoming a parent which coincided with their birthday and their “Saturn Return.” According to astrology, Saturn Return involve crossing major thresholds in life. While these astrological theories started the idea for “Rotations,” the song is every parent’s attempt to take in all the things they can as their children grow quickly.

They say:

Parenthood is a wild thing. My kid was born on my birthday during my Saturn return. That means the next thirty years are a single rotation of Saturn for the both of us. Got me to thinking about the various measurements of time and how many of those rotations I’m going to get with my kid.

“Rotations” is the latest single to be released from Adeem The Artist’s upcoming, Butch Walker-produced album, Anniversary, out May 3rd, 2024 via Adeem’s own Four Quarters Records and Thirty Tigers.

In addition to a pair of album release shows in Nashville and Knoxville, Tennessee on May 9th & May 10th, 2024 Adeem will hit the road supporting both Tyler Childers and Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit in June and July.
