Päter’s “4-7 Company” Addresses Inner Divides

Alt Pop/Rock artist Päter has revealed new single “4-7 Company”, the title track from their new album to be released on April 4th, 2024.

Päter says about revealing the song on March 20th:

Happy Persian New Year and the first day of Spring! I wanted to release this song today because it has always felt like renewal to me – a big buildup into a big release. It’s one of those songs that picked me up as I was writing it, so I’m really happy to be sharing it with you. Where do you go when you’re alone?

The single “4-7 Company” is one that “addresses inner divides” including “aches, desires, worries, and madness.” It moves towards “self-acceptance and actualization.”

In support of their new album, Päter will be doing a album release show in Toronto at The Monarch Tavern on April 11th.

Päter’s forthcoming debut LP, 4-7 Company, explores “the evening hours between work and social life when solitude leads to wandering thoughts.” During the writing process, which largely took place over their time in a theatre program, Päter was inspired to “look inward and confront blocks” in their body and mind.

In summer 2024, Päter will be taking their live show on tour for the first time, spanning Canada, the US, and eventually beyond.
