Grammy-nominated Funk, Jazz, Soul, Hip-Hip and more multi-genre band Lettuce have announced a special picture disc edition of their 48-minute improvisational work Vibe. It will be exclusively available on Record Store Day on April 20, 2024.

The 48-minute continuous session of free-flowing music just celebrated its digital release in November after a previous limited edition vinyl run and the band is currently on a national tour in celebration of the new release.

Ryan Zoidis explains about Vibe:

This recording happened during the sessions for Resonate. We had just finished tracking what we had planned on. We got into a vibe and we hit record. 48 minutes went by like a blink of an eye. This is our first purely improvised recording. Nothing planned, nothing edited or overdubbed. This is a true spontaneous musical expression captured in its entirety.

As Adam “Shmeeans” Smirnoff says:

VIBE is a journey into the universe of psychedelic improvisation.

To celebrate both the digital release and Record Store Day exclusive LP of Vibe, Lettuce is currently embarking on a national tour with rotating support slots from Grammy-nominated, Afro-Cuban Rock artist Cimafunk, DJ sets from keyboardist & vocalist Nigel Hall, and DJ sets from drummer Adam Deitch.
