Norther is the upcoming new album from Austin, Texas quintet Shane Smith & The Saints. It arrives on March 1st, 2024, via Thirty Tigers/Geronimo West Records. Norther is the band’s fourth studio album and their first since 2019’s Hail Mary. A teaser track from Norther, titled “Adeline”, is out now.

Produced by Beau Bedford (Paul Cauthen, Sunny Sweeney, Tanner Usrey), Norther contains 13 tracks that blend Country, Southern Rock, Folk, and Honky-Tonk.

In November 2022, Shane Smith & The Saints appeared in the Season 5 opening episode of the series Yellowstone, in which the group performed two songs, including “Fire In The Ocean,” which is featured on Norther. Their music was featured multiple times in Season 4 as well.

In May of last year, the band headlined Red Rocks Amphitheater for the first time and sold it out in one day. The band sold out major venues on their November 2023 tour, including Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, Chicago’s Thalia Hall, DC’s 9:30 Club, Cleveland’s Beachland Ballroom, Atlanta’s Variety Playhouse, Toronto’s Horseshoe Tavern, Asheville’s The Orange Peel, and dates in Richmond, VA, Flint, MI, and more.
