Nashville-based Indie Pop singer/songwriter Zach Seabaugh has released his new single “Helium Balloons”. He’s been steadily releasing singles since 2022, building up to his debut collection this Fall. Seabaugh calls his music “moody music”, a cross between singer/songwriter work and Pop.
Zach Seabaugh comments on the new track:
I read a story about leaving a restaurant as a child with a balloon tied to your wrist. When you get to the car, your mom and dad say you can’t bring it home and you have to let it go. In the moment, you’re broken up about it but quickly after, you forget that you even had the balloon. I wanted to write a song relating back to this, with the thing you’re letting go of being a past relationship that didn’t work out, or an old habit you’re trying to kick. You want to hold on, but you come to accept that it’s better to just let go. I hope people can relate to the same in the struggles they’re facing in their own life.
Recently Seabaugh has released is first first full-length album Mr. Nobody that expresses his reactions to “navigating the complexities of young adulthood and the excitement and heartache of relationships.”
