Labelmates Morgan Myles and Sam Morrow celebrated the season last weekend by taking the legendary Grand Ole Opry stage on Saturday, November 25th, 2023. The vocal duo performed their recently released original Christmas tune, “Christmas Just Us Two”. The song is available now on all streaming services via KZZ Music/Blue Élan Records.
For Myles, it was a triumphant return to the Nashville venue, while Morrow made his debut appearance there.
Regarding sharing the bill with Steve Earle and others, Myles says:
My Opry debut was at The Ryman in January so this was my first time stepping into the circle… I get overwhelmed with so much gratitude when I get asked to play this legendary stage, it’s an artist’s dream to be accepted into this coveted honor. Also it happened to be my mother’s birthday…getting to bring her out on stage with me was my moment to tell her she’s worked just as hard as me to make it here. Definitely never gonna be able to top that!
Morrow shares as a first timer:
It was a big honor to play on the stage where so many legends have been before me. It’s a night I will remember for the rest of my life!
