Watch Marcus Rezak Collaborate With Blues Traveler On “Mulling It Over”

Guitarist Marcus Rezak is still celebrating his third album release, Guitar Head, and recently collaborated in a performance with Grammy-winning Blues-Rock act Blues Traveler at The Rialto Square Theatre in Joliet, IL on the song “Mulling it Over” off of the band’s self-titled debut record. Rezak has recently revealed live footage of that performance.

The 10-minute rendition of “Mulling It Over” features an extended jam section highlighting harmonica work from Blues Traveler frontman John Popper and a guitar solo from Rezak that leads to a spacious call-and-response section between him and Popper.

Rezak’s recently released Guitar Head was produced by Grammy-award winner Paul Nelson and features Ray Paczkowski (Trey Anastasio Band) on keyboards, Adrian Tramontano (Twiddle & Kung Fu) on drums, Chris DeAngelis (Kung Fu & The Machine) on bass, and Erik Lawrence (Little Feat) on saxophones.

Rezak will continue to support the new album with and upcoming Florida run with dates in Key West, Fort Myers, and Stuart with additional 2024 Guitar Head tour dates to be announced soon.
