Australian Hardcore band Iron Mind have released the two-track single “Assume Your Ultimate Form,” out now on Flatspot Records. This marks the band’s first new music in 9 years, following their 2014 self-titled record.
Intentionally “focused and direct,” the tracks “Assume Your Ultimate Form” and “Spiral of Debt” lay out a new future path for Iron Mind and the latter comes with an accompanying video.
Assume Your Ultimate Form was recorded in the band’s hometown of Melbourne, Australia with Sam Johnson at The Black Lodge Studio and then mixed by Taylor Young at The Pit.
Iron Mind is set to head out on tour across Australia supporting No Warning. Having played yearly one off shows in Melbourne, this marks the band’s first proper tour since 2014.

Iron Mind is Sam Octigan (vocals), Neil Bloem (guitar), Akira Asahina (guitar), Josh Barclay (drums), and Dan Collins (bass).
