Dan Davidson Takes ‘Nineteen Eighty Something’ On The Road

Platinum-selling Canadian Country artist, songwriter and producer Dan Davidson previously hinted at the forthcoming release of his new album Nineteen Eighty Something, available October 16, 2023. To coincide with the release, Davidson will be headed out across Western Canada in November for the Nineteen Eighty Something Tour, featuring Five Roses.

For Nineteen Eighty Something, Davidson is blending modernized Country with Pop nostalgia. Davidson first introduced the project with the anthemic track “If These Streets Could Talk” which combined 80’s synths, electric guitars, and pedal steel. This summer, he also released “He Met A Girl“.

After nearly a decade of playing in the Canadian Indie Rock band Tupelo Honey, Dan Davidson joined the Canadian Country scene in 2016 with the release of his second single “Found”. Since then, he has seen 7 CCMA Award nominations, 10 ACMA awards, and Top 20 charting tracks in both Canada and Australia.
